BlackBridge Recycling — Wall Township, NJ Headquarters

New Jersey’s industrial corridor has produced scrap material for more than a century — and for the last 14 years, BlackBridge Recycling has been moving it. Headquartered in Wall Township in Monmouth County, we are a multi-material scrap brokerage placing roughly 88,000 tons of plastic, paper, metals, and foam every year. We work directly with NJ manufacturers, distribution centers, MRFs, and processors who need a broker that pays on time, knows the regional mill and reclaimer base, and can move odd-lot material as easily as it moves full truckloads.

If you generate scrap in New Jersey and want a buyer that has actually been paying its suppliers since 2011, you are in the right place.

Our Wall Township office

1973 Route 34, Suite 201, Wall Township, NJ 07719
800-449-5084 · info@blackbridgerecycling.com

Our headquarters sits on Route 34 in Wall Township, a suburban-industrial pocket of Monmouth County that sits at the intersection of the Garden State Parkway, I-195, and Route 195’s run west toward I-95 and the New Jersey Turnpike. We are roughly 30 minutes from the Newark/Elizabeth port complex, 20 minutes from Belmar Beach, an hour south of Manhattan, and within a half-day drive of the entire Mid-Atlantic mill base.

That location is not an accident. Wall Township was chosen because it puts a broker desk inside the geographic center of the Northeast’s scrap-generation footprint — close enough to the ports and rail intermodal yards to coordinate export loads same-day, and close enough to NJ, eastern PA, and downstate NY suppliers to actually visit a facility when a relationship matters more than an email.

Visits to the Wall Township office are by appointment. Call 800-449-5084 to schedule.

Materials we broker from NJ suppliers

BlackBridge is a true multi-material desk. We are not a metals shop that occasionally takes plastic, and we are not a fiber broker that dabbles in aluminum. We move all four streams every week, which means a single NJ generator can consolidate scrap relationships through one phone number.

Plastics
– HDPE — natural, color, regrind, purge
– PET — bottle bales, post-industrial sheet, thermoform
– LDPE / LLDPE — clear film, colored film, stretch
– PP — bales, regrind, big bag scrap, super sacks
– ABS, PS, PC, nylon, engineering resins
– Mixed loads and off-spec resin

Paper & fiber
– OCC (old corrugated containers) — #11 and mill-grade
– DLK (double-lined kraft)
– Sorted office paper, white ledger, mixed paper
– Newsprint and magazines

Metals
– Aluminum — UBC, sheet, extrusion, cast, used beverage cans
– Steel — prepared, unprepared, P&S, busheling
– Copper, brass, stainless on a case-by-case basis

Foam
– EPS (expanded polystyrene) — densified blocks, loose, packaging foam
– Polyurethane foam scrap

If your material is not on this list, call us anyway. After 14 years, very little surprises the desk.

Why NJ-based suppliers choose BlackBridge

  • 14-year payment record. Since 2011, BlackBridge has paid every supplier on terms. No factoring, no “the mill hasn’t paid us yet” excuses.
  • One desk, four material streams. Consolidate plastics, paper, metals, and foam through a single contact instead of juggling four brokers.
  • NJ-local response time. A broker on Route 34 picks up the phone faster than a desk in Texas or Chicago — and can show up in person when the load is large enough to matter.
  • Direct mill and reclaimer relationships. We sell to end-users, not to other middlemen. That keeps your price competitive and the chain of custody clean.
  • Family-operated. Jason Stephens (President), Vin (partner), Chris Goger (recycling director), and Marty Oxman (procurement) all answer their own phones.

Regional coverage from the NJ HQ

Wall Township is the dispatch center for everything within a four-hour drive radius. From the Monmouth County desk we routinely place material from:

  • New Jersey — every county, north to south
  • Eastern Pennsylvania — Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia metro, Berks, Bucks, Montgomery
  • New York metro — five boroughs, Long Island, Westchester, Rockland, Hudson Valley
  • Connecticut — Fairfield and New Haven counties primarily
  • Delaware — Wilmington corridor and points south

If your facility is inside that radius, we can quote, ship, and pay you out of the Wall Township office without handing you off to another regional desk.

Industries we serve in NJ

New Jersey’s industrial mix is unusually diverse, and the Wall Township desk handles all of it:

  • Plastics processors and converters — injection molders, extruders, blow molders running purge, regrind, and off-spec
  • Paper mills and converters — OCC, DLK, mixed paper outflows from corrugated and tissue operations
  • Metals fabricators — aluminum extrusion shops, steel stampers, machine shops
  • MRFs (material recovery facilities) — single-stream and dual-stream operators looking for a broker who can move the harder grades
  • Food and beverage manufacturers — PET bottle bales, HDPE jug bales, OCC from packaging lines
  • Pharma and personal-care packaging plants — clean post-industrial HDPE, PP, and PET
  • Distribution and 3PL centers — film, OCC, mixed paper, and pallet wrap

Local logistics and freight

Wall Township sits inside one of the densest freight corridors in North America. From the Monmouth County desk we coordinate:

  • Newark/Elizabeth port — 30–40 minutes north, the busiest container complex on the East Coast and our primary export gateway
  • NJ Turnpike (I-95) — direct truck access for inbound mill loads and outbound to the Mid-Atlantic
  • Garden State Parkway — the artery for North Jersey, Shore, and South Jersey supplier pickups
  • I-195 / Route 195 — east-west connector to the Turnpike and Trenton
  • NJ rail intermodal — Conrail Shared Assets and Class I connections for cross-country resin and OCC moves

That logistics density is the reason a broker can sit in Wall Township and credibly serve the entire Northeast. The trucks, ports, and rail are already here.

Team

  • Jason Stephens — President. 14 years on the desk; final word on terms and unusual material.
  • Vin — Partner. Trading and counterparty relationships.
  • Chris Goger — Recycling Director. Day-to-day operations, mill placement, problem loads.
  • Marty Oxman — Procurement. New supplier intake, sample evaluation, pricing.
  • Brittany — Procurement support and supplier coordination.
  • Jess Cinque — Accounting. Pays you on time, every time, since 2011.

NJ supplier FAQ

1. Do I need to be in Monmouth County to work with you?
No. The Wall Township office services suppliers across NJ, eastern PA, NY metro, CT, and DE. If you can be reached by truck within four hours, we can serve you.

2. What’s the minimum load size you’ll quote?
We routinely place LTL and partial truckloads alongside full truckloads. Call the desk with what you have and we’ll tell you whether the math works.

3. How quickly do you pay?
Standard terms are net 30 from receipt at the buyer’s facility, with faster terms available for established accounts. The 14-year payment record is the headline reason suppliers stay.

4. Do you take material that other brokers have rejected?
Often, yes. Off-spec resin, contaminated bales, mixed loads, and “problem” material are exactly what a multi-material desk is built to absorb. Send a photo and a description.

5. Will someone actually visit my facility?
For meaningful volume, yes. Chris Goger or Marty Oxman will come on-site to walk the operation, look at material, and quote in person. That is unusual in the broker world and it is deliberate.
